Ella Thomas

She spent two summers working in New York and Paris, but chose to complete her degree before pursuing modeling full time. Represented by Elite, and later by Wilhelmina Models, she appeared in international print campaigns for the Gap, L'Oreal, and Tiffany & Co., as well as editorials in magazines like Elle, Glamour, and Vogue. A severe accident forced her to take a break and finish her degree, but she returned to modeling three years later, eventually transitioning into acting. Her first role came in the film Disturbance, and a chance meeting with Brenda Hampton, creator of 7th Heaven, led to a guest spot on that show, cast for her East African heritage and traditional Zuriya family photos.

Since then, she has built a solid career in both film and television, appearing opposite Zoe Saldana in Nina, Kyra Sedgwick on ABC's Ten Days in the Valley, and in series like Ice, NCIS LA, Mistresses, and 911. In 2023, she starred in Desperation Road and Nightbitch. She is American, of mixed-race ethnicity (primarily Black), and works as an actress. She stands 5'10", with a slim build, black hair, and brown eyes. She is represented by Wilhelmina Models.
