About Ella Junnila
Ella Junnila is a Finnish long jumper and high jumper, competing for Tampereen Pyrintö. She previously represented Janakkalan Jana and Vammalan seudun Voima. Junnila won a bronze medal at the 2019 European Athletics U23 Championships with a jump of 192 cm, and another bronze at the 2021 European Indoor Championships, setting a new Finnish record of 196 cm. She set her first Finnish record of 194 cm on 11 June 2019 in Turku, then improved it to 195 cm on 3 July 2019 in Tampere. She represented Finland at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She is 27 years old.
