Elizabeth Gutierrez

Before her acting breakthrough, Gutierrez worked as a model on The Price Is Right and appeared as a backup dancer on Cuanto Cuesta El Show in 2002. She participated in the second season of the reality show Protagonistas de Novela, where she met actor William Levy. Their on-again, off-again relationship has continued since at least 2003. The couple has two children: son Christopher Alexander, born in 2006, and daughter Kailey Alexandra, born on March 6, 2010.

Gutierrez transitioned to telenovelas in 2005 with the villain role of Isabela in Olvidarte jamás, which she left 12 episodes early due to her first pregnancy. She then played Paola in Acorralada before taking the lead in Amor comprado. In 2007, she starred in Isla paraíso, a 15-episode mininovela published online. Her career rose to international prominence with El Rostro de Analía in 2008, a Telemundo production broadcast in over 50 countries. In 2009, she turned down a role in Bella calamidades to play a villain in the fifth remake of Corazón salvaje, a performance critics praised. She later led El fantasma de Elena, which was sold in 70 countries. She also appeared on the Univision reality show Mira quién baila. In 2012, she took the role of Mariana San Lucas in El rostro de la venganza but left early during its presentation. At 47 years old, she remains active in the entertainment industry, with a career that has made her a recognizable face in Latin television worldwide.
