About Elisabetta Gregoraci

Edited by the community

Elisabetta Gregoraci is an Italian model and TV personality, born in Soverato, Catanzaro, Italy. She started her career in 1997 as a dancer on the Italian television show "Libero" at age 18. She later gained international attention when she replaced Eva Herzigová for the Wonderbra campaign. Her path to fame was not without controversy. Gregoraci once offered sexual favours in exchange for a job as a showgirl for RAI, the Italian national public broadcaster. That move led to her estrangement from RAI, but she was soon hired by Silvio Berlusconi, the former Italian Prime Minister and owner of Mediaset. She worked as a hostess on the show "Buona Domenica" and went on to become a showgirl, supermodel, and TV host. At 5'9" with a slim figure, she has maintained a prominent presence in Italian media for over two decades.
