Ekaterina Pankova

Few setters in Russian volleyball left a mark quite like Ekaterina Pankova. She was born on Friday, 2 February 1990, in Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation, and spent twelve years on the court, from 2007 to 2019. Standing 5'10" and weighing 165 lbs, she brought a tall, athletic presence to the setter position. A straight and Caucasian Russian, she played professionally and was part of the Russia women's national team.

Pankova, whose full name is Ekaterina Vadimovna Pankova, used the surname Kosianenko from 2013 to 2016. She played for Dynamo Moscow at the club level. Her career, which began when she was about 18, spanned over a decade and established her as a consistent contributor to the sport. She is now retired.
