About Dominique Dunne
Dunne had brown hair and brown eyes, with an average build. She was an American actress born in Santa Monica, California, and of Caucasian ethnicity. She began acting in 1979, appearing in the television film Diary of a Teenage Hitchhiker, followed by recurring roles in Family and Breaking Away. Her breakthrough came in 1982 with the horror film Poltergeist, where she played Dana Freeling. That same year, she headlined the Western The Shadow Riders and appeared in the series CHiPs.
Dunne's career was cut short when she was strangled by her ex-boyfriend on October 30, 1982. She fell into a coma and died five days later, at age 22.
