Biography
About Dannii Minogue
Dannii Minogue is an Australian singer, actress, and television personality. She rose to fame on the talent show Young Talent Time (1982–1988) and later played Emma Jackson in the soap opera Home and Away (1989–1990). Her music career took off in the early 1990s, and she has been active in the entertainment industry since 1979. She is Australian/British and was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on 20 October 1971. At 5'2" with brown hair and blue eyes, she has an average build and measurements of 34–22–33.
Minogue reinvented herself as a TV personality in 2006, serving as a judge on The X Factor in the UK and later on Australian talent shows. She has often been compared to her sister Kylie Minogue, but she has carved out her own path. She told Elle magazine in 2009 that her sister Kylie was proud of her and annoyed by the constant comparisons. Dannii is considered the raunchier Minogue, a reputation she has embraced. She had breast augmentation in 1994, taking her from a B to a D cup, and has spoken openly about how the surgery boosted her confidence after her divorce.
In October 1995, she posed nude for the Australian edition of Playboy, describing the experience as liberating and empowering. She has also posed topless many times, and her solo work includes full nudity. She has a star tattoo above her ass cheeks. Her personal life has been in the spotlight as well. She dated English model Kris Smith from 2008 to 2012, and they have a son born in 2010. Despite the comparisons, Dannii has built a successful career as a multifaceted performer, with over four decades in the industry.
