Danielle Harold

Before her acting career took off, Harold appeared in the television series Jamie's Dream School, where she was recognized as one of the brightest students. She earned a chance to stay in the biosphere that Jane Poynter had lived in, and was given a tour of Cambridge University by David Starkey, who encouraged her to consider that institution. However, she chose to pursue acting, auditioning for several roles despite having only one GCSE due to a year lost to illness.

In June 2011, EastEnders announced Harold's casting as Lola Pearce, the granddaughter of Billy Mitchell and Julie Perkins. She made her first appearance on 12 July 2011. One of her first major storylines involved her teenage pregnancy, and in July 2012, her character gave birth during a special live broadcast, making Harold the first EastEnders actress to portray a live birth on air, and only the second in British soap history. She left the show in 2015 but returned in April 2019 with her on-screen daughter, Lexi Pearce. In 2022, the show announced a brain cancer storyline for Lola, which culminated in the character's death on 31 May 2023. Harold continued to appear as Lola through video diaries until March 2026.

Beyond EastEnders, Harold appeared in an EastEnders special of The Weakest Link in November 2023. That same month, she was announced as a contestant on the twenty-third series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, where she was the fifth celebrity eliminated, finishing in sixth place. She was also set to participate in the sixth series of Celebrity Hunted in 2024, which she had already filmed in 2023. Harold is 5'3" tall and has a slim build. She is straight and of Caucasian ethnicity. She has blonde hair and brown eyes.
