Dafne Schippers is a former Dutch sprinter who dominated the 200 meters on the world stage. Born in Utrecht, Netherlands, she began her career in 2008 at age 16 and competed for 15 years before retiring in 2023. She is a two-time World Champion, winning the 200 m in 2015 and 2017, and took silver at the 2016 Rio Olympics in the same event. She holds the European record in the 200 m with a time of 21.63 seconds, making her the third-fastest woman ever at that distance. She also shares the European record in the 4 × 100 m relay. Before focusing on sprints, she competed in the heptathlon. Standing 5'10" with an athletic build and natural blonde hair, she was a commanding presence on the track.
