Cynthia Daniel

Daniel started modeling and acting in high school, alongside Brittany. They appeared in commercials for Caboodles and were the famous 'Doublemint Twins' in numerous TV spots. After Sweet Valley High was canceled in 1997, she retired from acting and turned to photography, a field she says she loves far more. She made one brief return in a 2002 episode of That 80s Show, which also featured her sister, and then stepped away again for two decades. In 2022, she reunited with Brittany on screen in the remake of Cheaper by the Dozen.

Off screen, Daniel has been married to actor Cole Hauser since December 22, 2006. They have three children: Ryland, Steely Rose, and Colt Daniel. In a remarkable act of family support, she donated one of her eggs to her identical twin sister, which led to the birth of her niece Hope in 2021. Now 50 years old and five minutes younger than her twin, Daniel stands one inch taller than Brittany. She was homecoming queen and a cheerleader in high school, much like her Sweet Valley High character. Her photography career continues to define her professional life, even as her acting past remains a beloved piece of 90s pop culture.
