Cybill Shepherd

Cybill Shepherd is a blonde, blue-eyed American actress with a slim, natural figure that has been her signature since the 1960s. Standing 5'8" and measuring 36–32–40, she started as a beauty pageant contestant and glamour model before Hollywood came calling. Her film debut in 1971's The Last Picture Show made her a star overnight, and she went on to memorable roles in Taxi Driver, The Heartbreak Kid, and Alice.

Her television work is equally storied. She won two Golden Globes for Moonlighting, opposite Bruce Willis, and a third for her sitcom Cybill. She also appeared on The L Word, Psych, and The Client List. Shepherd won Miss Teenage Memphis at 16, then competed in the 1966 Miss Teenage America pageant, where she took the congeniality award. She also entered the 1968 Model of the Year contest, which led to real modeling assignments.

Her personal life has been just as eventful. She married David M. Ford in 1978 after he told her to come home when she called her mother crying; their daughter Clementine was born in 1979, but the marriage ended in 1982. In 1987 she married chiropractor Bruce Oppenheim, and they had twins during Moonlighting's fourth season, though they divorced in 1990. She had a long romance with author Larry McMurtry, whom she called the love of her life. She got engaged to psychologist Andrei Nikolajevic in 2012, but they called it off by 2015. She's been active in show business for 58 years.
