About Courtney Stodden
Courtney Stodden is a blonde bombshell with brown eyes, a petite 5'3" frame, and a slim build, known for their revealing glamour shots and unapologetic persona. At 31, they've packed a lifetime of headlines into a 15-year career that began when they were barely a teenager.
Born in Tacoma, Washington, Stodden first came to fame as a child bride. In 2011, at age 16, they married 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison, a union that sparked a media firestorm and was widely criticized as predatory. The couple's turbulent marriage played out on reality TV shows like Couples Therapy (2012) and Celebrity Big Brother (2013) in the UK. Stodden later starred in The Mother/Daughter Experiment (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2017), and their own series Courtney (2020). The marriage ended in divorce in March 2020, and Stodden has since spoken publicly about feeling groomed and emotionally abused.
Beyond reality TV, Stodden pursued music, releasing songs like "Car Candy" and "Crazy" starting around 2010, and signed with Rich Kid Mafia in 2015. They also appeared in the film Love Addict and starred in the reality show Courtney. In May 2015, a solo sex tape, released by Vivid Entertainment, made waves when Stodden said proceeds would go to charity. They are a vegetarian and former PETA spokesperson, and they identify as a Christian supportive of gay marriage. In 2021, they came out as non-binary, later adjusting to she/they pronouns. As a bisexual glamour model and reality star, Stodden's career has been anything but quiet, and they continue to be a polarizing figure in pop culture.
