Courtney Henggeler

Courtney Henggeler has a slim build, stands 5'9", and has brown hair and blue eyes, a combination that has served her well across decades of screen work. She is an American actress, producer, and writer, born in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, on December 11, 1978. Her career began in 2003 with a debut film role as Susan Beth in The Bog Creatures. She soon appeared on television in House (2004), but it was her recurring portrayal of Missy Cooper on The Big Bang Theory (2007) that made her widely recognizable.

Long before Hollywood, Henggeler was drawn to the stage. She took acting lessons in Los Angeles, and her first audition came in 9th grade for her high school's production of Carousel. She remembered pretending to eat an apple while singing about clams, a sign of her early theatrical flair.

In April 2025, Henggeler publicly announced she was quitting acting altogether.
