Corinne Touzet

Touzet's early life was marked by a passion for circus and clowns. She passed her baccalaureate at age 16 and traveled to Canada and the United States. She studied literature in Aix-en-Provence and staged street shows. In 1981, she tried her luck in Paris. A year later, she filmed her first television series, Marianne, une étoile pour Napoléon. In 1987, she played her first major cinema role in La Rumba, directed by Roger Hanin.

From 1996 to 2007, Touzet starred as Isabelle Florent in the TF1 series Une femme d'honneur. The pilot episode attracted 12,300,000 viewers. In 1997, she was elected "Best Actress in a TV Movie" at the 7 d'Or ceremony. In 2000, she created her first production company, Corilan' Productions. She produced her first TV movie, Et demain Paula, and went on to produce a total of eleven TV movies. In 2004, she produced and starred in Un parfum de Caraïbes, which was dedicated to her paternal grandmother. In 2005, she produced L'Enfant de personne, in which she played an amnesiac woman. She also launched a second production company, Yes productions, in 2006.

Touzet has also worked in theater. In 2008, she starred in the play Mobile Home. In 2010, she returned to TF1 in Interpol but stopped after six episodes. In 2011 and 2012, she performed in the play Soif. She continued acting in successful series, including Murders on Lake Geneva in 2016, and episodes of Joséphine ange gardien and Camping Paradis in 2020 and 2022.

Beyond acting, Touzet is committed to charitable causes. In 2001, she became the godmother of Un Regard, un Enfant, which helps disadvantaged children. She is a spokesperson for AFIPA and supports other associations. Since 2014, she has been a member of the ambassadors' club of the Claude-Pompidou Foundation.

In her personal life, she was in a relationship with singer Bernard Lavilliers in 1986. She has a daughter, Jeanne Sieja, born in 1994.
