About Colleen Haskell

Edited by the community

Colleen Haskell is a former American actress, producer, and reality TV star. She was born on December 6, 1976, in Bethesda, Maryland, and first became famous as a contestant on the very first season of Survivor (U.S.). She was a member of the Pagong tribe, which consisted largely of younger adults, and she became the last original Pagong member before being voted out. Upon her elimination, she told the remaining castaways, "Be nice, play fair," just before her torch was extinguished. Fellow contestant Richard Hatch described her as "a wonderful person."

Many fans expected Haskell to return for the Survivor: All-Stars edition in 2004. Producer Mark Burnett later revealed she had indeed been invited back but declined, saying she had moved on with her life and wasn't interested in going through the experience again. In 2001, she starred in the comedy film The Animal as Rob Schneider's love interest. Schneider mentioned on the DVD commentary that working with Colleen had been one of the most enjoyable aspects of making the film. She also guest-starred in an episode of That '70s Show as Hyde's romantic interest. The following year, in 2002, she appeared in the television series Maybe It's Me. Later, in 2003, she worked behind the scenes as a production assistant on The Michael Essany Show. She is slim, stands 5'5", has brown hair, and is American.
