Colleen Farrington

A striking brunette with a slim figure and a 38–25–35 hourglass shape, Colleen Farrington stood 5'8" and carried herself with the poised elegance of a mid-century pin-up. Her natural 32F bust was a defining feature in her topless modeling work, which she pursued in the late 1950s. Farrington, born in Davisboro, Georgia, on August 5, 1936, was a former Playboy model and centerfold. She earned the title of Playboy Playmate of the Month for October 1957, a milestone that cemented her place in the magazine's early history. Beyond modeling, she also sang in nightclubs, a lesser-known side of her career.

Farrington's personal life brought her into the public eye in a different way. She married acting coach Burton Eugene Lane, and they had a daughter, Diane Lane, who became an Academy Award-nominated actress. The marriage ended in divorce in 1965, shortly after Diane's birth. Farrington later returned to Georgia, where she settled and married Lawrence Price. She passed away on October 12, 2015, at the age of 79, leaving behind a legacy that intertwined glamour and family. Her life as a model and mother of a Hollywood star remains a notable chapter in entertainment history.
