About Claudia Megre

Edited by the community

Italian singer-songwriter Claudia Megre brings a blend of pop and personal storytelling to her music. Born in Naples, Italy, she began her career in 2011 and has remained active for over a decade. Her artistic name derives from the star Megrez in the constellation Ursa Major, whose apparent magnitude of +3.3 corresponds to her birth date of March 3rd.

Claudia participated in several local and national music reviews before releasing her debut single "Dimmi che" in 2011. Her first album "Da domani" followed in 2013. In 2014, she competed in the second season of "The Voice of Italy" as part of Piero Pelù's team, reaching the finalist stage. The next year, she appeared in four episodes of "Radio 2 Social Club" on Rai Radio 2, alongside Luca Barbarossa, Neri Marcorè, and Andrea Perroni.

Though not selected for the Sanremo Festival 2015, Claudia gained television attention through an advertising spot during the festival, where she performed her song "Tatuami." Her "Tu non puoi Tour" ran through 2016 across Italy, leading to her second album "Gioco ad estrazione" in October of that year. The album included the single "Le ragazze fanno grandi sogni," a duet with Edoardo Bennato. With brown hair and eyes, a slim build, and natural breasts, she continues to write and perform. Her Instagram following has reached 13k.
