Clara Petacci

Clara "Claretta" Petacci was an Italian politician and the mistress of dictator Benito Mussolini. Born on 28 February 1912 in Italy, she was of Caucasian ethnicity and identified as straight. She met Mussolini in the 1930s and became a controversial figure in Italian politics, wielding influence behind the scenes. Her relationship with Mussolini drew widespread attention and criticism. She was killed alongside Mussolini by Italian partisans on 28 April 1945, during his summary execution. She was 33 years old. Her death marked a tragic end to a life deeply intertwined with fascist Italy. She remains a subject of historical fascination, remembered for her loyalty to Mussolini until the very end.
