Chisato Morishita

Chisato Morishita has been a Member of the House of Representatives for Miyagi 4th district since February 2026, having previously served via the Tohoku proportional block since 2024. She is also the Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Environment under Minister Hirotaka Ishihara in Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's cabinet, a role she has held since October 2025.
