About Cathy Kelley

Edited by the community

American journalist Cathy Kelley has built a career at the intersection of sports and entertainment, best known for her work with WWE. Born in Oak Park, Illinois, she began her WWE journey in February 2016 as a correspondent for NXT and special events, making her official debut on the pre-show of NXT TakeOver: Dallas on April 1 of that year. During her initial tenure, she hosted WWE Now, a show on WWE's social media platforms and website covering stories, breaking news, previews of Raw and SmackDown, and event recaps. She also contributed to Sam Roberts' show on Sirius XM.

Kelley transitioned to television on September 25, 2019, when she appeared on an episode of NXT. She made a one-night appearance as a correspondent on SmackDown on November 1, 2019, after most of the WWE roster was stuck overseas. On February 13, 2020, she announced her departure from WWE on social media, with her last day being at NXT TakeOver: Portland on February 16. After a hiatus, WWE announced her return on October 6, 2022, as a backstage interviewer for the Raw brand.

Beyond WWE, Kelley has been recognized in various polls as one of the sexiest non-wrestling women in the industry, a label she carries with her natural charm. With 976k followers on Instagram, she maintains a significant social media presence. Standing at 5'7" with brown eyes and black hair, she has a real/natural look. Kelley is also openly bisexual, adding to her relatable persona. Her career continues to evolve, blending journalism, sports reporting, and TV hosting, with her current role in WWE keeping her at the forefront of sports entertainment.
