Caroline Dhavernas

Canadian actress Caroline Dhavernas has built a versatile career across film and television. She is best known for her collaborations with Bryan Fuller, playing Jaye Tyler in the Fox comedy-drama Wonderfalls and Dr. Alana Bloom in the NBC psychological horror series Hannibal. She also starred as Dr. Lily Brenner in the ABC medical drama Off the Map.

Born in Montreal, Quebec, to Québécois actors Sébastien Dhavernas and Michèle Deslauriers, she grew up surrounded by performance. Her sister Gabrielle is also an actress, specializing in dubbing. Their voice timbres are so similar that Gabrielle can dub Caroline's voice. Caroline learned English at a young age, attending an English-speaking elementary school called The Priory School.

Her career began early. At age 8, she dubbed voices for television productions like Babar. At 12, she started acting on screen in the film Comme un Voleur (1990). She has been active since 1990, working steadily for over three decades. Since 2016, she has been in a relationship with actor Maxime Le Flaguais. In September 2018, they welcomed their daughter, Françoise. With her slim build, brown hair, and blue eyes, she brings a distinctive presence to every role.
