Edited by the community

Carolina Orlandi is an Italian journalist and writer, a storyteller whose work centers on reportage and the human stories behind justice cases. Born in Siena, Tuscany, on 31 July 1992, she studied Communication and Journalism at the University of Siena before attending the Holden School in Turin, where she specialized in narrative techniques.

Her literary debut, Se tu potessi vedermi ora. La storia di David Rossi raccontata da chi gli era accanto (If You Could See Me Now, Mondadori, 2018), is a memoir about David Rossi, former head of communications at Monte dei Paschi di Siena and her mother's partner. Rossi's death in 2013 became a matter of public debate and investigation, and in the book she recounts her personal experience, raising questions about the official account and highlighting what she sees as inconsistencies. She followed with 111 luoghi di Siena e dintorni che devi proprio scoprire (Emons Edizioni, 2022), a guide to lesser-known spots around her hometown.

Her journalism has appeared on Italian television networks including Mediaset and La7, and she currently works as a freelance author for magazines and television platforms. She has about 28k followers on Instagram.
