About Carole Bouquet
Carole Bouquet stands 5'8" with a slim build, black hair, and brown eyes. She was born on August 18, 1957, in Neuilly, Ile-de-France, France. A French actress of Caucasian ethnicity, she started her career in 1977 and has since appeared in over 60 films. In 1990, she won the César Award for Best Actress for her role in Too Beautiful for You.
Her film debut came in Luis Buñuel's surrealist classic That Obscure Object of Desire (1977). She played Bond girl Melina Havelock opposite Roger Moore in For Your Eyes Only (1981). Bouquet also received a César nomination for Best Supporting Actress for Rive droite, rive gauche (1984). During the 1980s, she modeled for Chanel, serving as the face of Chanel No. 5 from 1986 to 1997.
Bouquet has been involved with several notable figures in the film and arts world. Her son Dimitri Rassam is a producer, and she was later in a relationship with actor Gérard Depardieu. In 2014, she served on the main competition jury at the Cannes Film Festival. Since 2005, she has run a winery, Maison Carole Bouquet, on the island of Pantelleria.
