Carlye's path to Playboy started in small-town Texas. She was born in Abilene and lived there for about fourteen years before moving to New Braunfels, where she attended high school. Feeling constrained by the small town, she moved out on her own and eventually relocated to Dallas, where she worked as a bartender. She later became a waitress at Twin Peaks, a 'breastaurant' in nearby Addison, and was promoted to corporate store opener while modeling part-time. Her modeling work soon took precedence, leading to her role as a Playboy Cybergirl and Coed of the Week on June 8, 2012. During her active years, she posed for 8 covers and 8 photosets exclusively for Playboy, and also appeared in a World Star Hip Hop video in June 2013.
