Carla's early roles include Eliana in the 1994 novel "Éramos Seis" and the child version of characters in "Colégio Brasil" and "O Amor Está no Ar." In 1997, she became nationally known as little Maria in the children's novel "Chiquititas," a role she played for three seasons. She later appeared in "Laços de Família" (2000) and had a major role as Khadija, the Muslim daughter of the protagonist Jade, in "O Clone" (2001). After transitioning to adult roles, she played Gina, a victim of bullying in "Sete Pecados" (2007), and Juno, a mutant destined to save the world, in "Promessas de Amor" (2009). In "Rebelde" (2011), she played the mysterious Márcia. That same year, she did a sensual photo shoot for VIP magazine.

Beyond television, Carla has explored music and reality TV. In 2016, she debuted as a singer on the single "Voa" with Bernardo Falcone. She has appeared in films like "The Girl Who Killed Her Parents" and "The Boy Who Killed My Parents," where she played the real-life murderer Suzane von Richthofen, earning critical acclaim. She has also competed on "Superchef Celebridades" and "Dança dos Famosos," finishing as runner-up in the latter. She participated in the 21st season of Big Brother Brasil in 2021.
