About Camila Giorgi
Camila Giorgi first drew attention not for her looks but for the sheer pace of her tennis. Known as one of the hardest hitters on the tour, she built a career on aggressive play and flat, powerful groundstrokes. She turned professional in 2006, around the age of 14, and spent two decades on the court before retiring. Her highest singles ranking was world No. 26, reached on 22 October 2018.
Giorgi's Grand Slam breakthrough came early. After winning her first ITF title in 2009, she made her main-draw debut at Wimbledon in 2011. A year later she reached the fourth round at the All England Club and cracked the top 100. In 2013 she matched that result at the US Open, and in 2018 she went one step further, reaching her first Grand Slam quarterfinal at Wimbledon. Her biggest title came in 2021 at the National Bank Open in Montreal, where she beat former world No. 1 Karolína Pliskova in the final.
Off the court, Giorgi has also worked as a glamour model. Italian by nationality, she blends Argentine, Ashkenazi Jewish, and Italian descent. She stands 5'6" with an athletic build, blonde hair, and blue eyes. Her Instagram following has grown to 693k, where she shares both tennis memories and modeling work. She is straight and has no tattoos or piercings.
