She performed in the Las Vegas residency Britney: Piece of Me from 2013 to 2017, supporting Britney Jean and Glory. In 2019, her legal fight over the conservatorship became public, sparking the #FreeBritney movement, and in 2021 the conservatorship was terminated after her testimony. In the US, she is the fourth best-selling female album artist of the Nielsen SoundScan era and the best-selling female album artist of the 2000s. She has six number-one albums and five number-one singles on the US charts. As of April 2026, she has 42.4 million Instagram followers. She is Caucasian, straight, with blonde hair, brown eyes, and a slim build with measurements of 35–27–35 and a 32C bra cup. She has several tattoos, including a fairy on her lower back, a daisy on her right foot, a butterfly on her left foot, a Chinese symbol meaning "strange" on her belly, and Hebrew letters with roses on her left wrist. She also has navel and ear piercings.
