Brigitte Kingsley

Brigitte Kingsley is a Canadian actress and producer with a long career in film and television. She is best known for her role as Summer Vale in the multiple Dark Rising films and television series. Born in Sudbury, Ontario, she grew up in the nearby town of Hanmer, then moved to Whitby, Ontario at age 10. Her father, Denis, worked in the lumber insurance industry for over 20 years, and her mother, Diane, was a teacher in the French Catholic school board. They both retired early to open two Topper's Pizza franchises in Whitby and Oshawa, Ontario. She has an older sister named Natalie.

Brigitte began acting at age 14, appearing in commercials for Oxy, Foot Locker, McDonald's, Head & Shoulders, and Radio Shack. She attended the French Catholic School Saint-Charles Garnier in Whitby until grade 12, then completed her OAC at Anderson Collegiate. She studied theatre and psychology at York University, graduating with Honours and a BFA in Theatre Studies.

At 50 years old, Brigitte remains active in the industry, with nearly three decades of experience. She is 5'6" with a slim build and black hair. She has been a producer as well as an actress, and she has a strong presence on social media with 9,000 Instagram followers.
