Briana Evigan

Slim, 5'5" Briana Evigan is an American actress known for her role in Step Up 2: The Streets. Born in Los Angeles, California, she grew up in a family of performers: her father is actor Greg Evigan, her mother is dancer Pam Evigan, and her siblings include music producer Jason Evigan and actress Vanessa Evigan. Briana also performed with her band Moorish Idol, singing and playing keys.

Before making it big in film, Briana studied speech and communications at Los Angeles Valley College, where she competed on the speech and debate team and became one of the top speakers in the country. She had been dancing since age 7, which prepared her for her breakout role in the 2008 hit Step Up 2: The Streets. She returned to the franchise in 2014 for Step Up: All In. Her other film credits include Sorority Row, S. Darko, and Burning Bright. On television, she appeared in From Dusk Till Dawn Season 2, Jerry Bruckheimer's pilot Trooper, TNT's Longmire, and indie films like ToY and Love is All You Need? for which she won Best Actor awards.

In October 2023, she married Australian anti-poaching activist Damien Mander. They have a son born in August 2022.
