Barbra Streisand

Streisand's career spans nightclubs, Broadway, television, and film. She signed with Columbia Records early on, keeping full artistic control in exchange for lower pay. Her debut album, The Barbra Streisand Album (1963), won the Grammy for Album of the Year. She later topped the Billboard 200 with 11 albums, a record for a woman until 2023. Her five number-one singles include "The Way We Were," "Evergreen," "You Don't Bring Me Flowers," "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)," and "Woman in Love."

In film, Streisand won an Academy Award for Best Actress for Funny Girl (1968).
