Biography
About Bamboo
Vietnamese-French former adult actress Bamboo, born on 24 May 1974 in Saigon, Vietnam, built a 19-year career in the industry. Known also as Jade and Jade Bui, she got her start in nude modeling in 1998 and remained active until around 2017, with some sources noting an earlier retirement in 2011. Her petite frame, slim build, and enhanced 38C breasts made her a recognizable figure in European adult entertainment.
Bamboo worked with several premium studios, including ANALVIDS, WOODMANCASTINGX, HUSTLER, PRIVATE, and VIDEOSZ, appearing in both solo and partnered productions. Across her career, she performed in scenes that ranged from solo masturbation and anal work to girl-girl and boy-girl encounters, including gangbang and interracial content. She also earned credits for 5 covers and 5 videos, a relatively modest but notable body of work for a performer of her era.
Her look combined Asian ethnicity with brown eyes and a navel piercing, though she opted for no tattoos. At 5'1" and 99 lbs, she defied the taller, more statuesque stereotype of many adult actresses of her time. Bamboo retired after nearly two decades, leaving behind a catalog that fans of classic European adult cinema still remember.
