Ayu Tingting

Indonesian entertainer Ayu Tingting was born on Saturday, 20 June 1992, in Depok, West Java. She started young, entering the world of modeling at age five and getting introduced to dangdut music around the same time. By the time she was 14, she was already performing as a wedding singer, earning Rp. 250,000 (US$28) per show, and that same year she was crowned Miss Depok.

In 2007, she recorded her solo album "Dilanjut Aja" with Akurama Records, which included the hit "Ting Ting". The song used the word "ting-ting" as a euphemism for virgin, with lyrics like "saya masih ting-ting / dan terjamin ting-ting". Her producers suggested she add "Tingting" to her first name to create her stage name. Over the years, she has built a career as a musician, actress, presenter, YouTuber, business woman, and influencer, amassing over 55 million followers on Instagram and more than 3 million subscribers on YouTube.
