Astrid Mjoen Holstad

Astrid Mjoen Holstad is a 31-year-old artist and former sportswoman from Melhus, Norway. Standing 5'9" with blonde hair, she balances her creative work with a background in athletics, a combination that shapes her perspective as a maker. Her Norwegian roots and Caucasian ethnicity ground her in the Scandinavian cultural landscape, where she continues to develop her artistic practice.

Born on Sunday, 21st August 1994, Astrid has moved from the discipline of sports into a path centered on visual expression. Her Instagram following of 1,000 people reflects a growing audience for her work, though she maintains a low-key presence online. While her athletic career is behind her, the determination she built there carries into her art. She is currently focused on building a portfolio that speaks to her dual influences: physical movement and artistic creation. Astrid's creative output appears limited to her own vision, with no external partnerships or ventures mentioned. As she continues to evolve, the exact direction of her art remains undefined to outsiders, but her journey from one field to another marks her as an individual unafraid to reinvent herself.
