In 2023, she made it into the Top 5 of the Playboy Lingerie Model Hunt, a breakthrough for Indian representation. As a plus-size model, she challenges beauty norms. By mid-2025, a saree transformation reel set to the song Dame Un Grrr went viral, pulling in millions of views. In July 2025, she became the target of a deepfake scandal; police arrested her ex-boyfriend, Pratim Bora, for running a fake Instagram account called "Babydoll Archi," which used stolen images and AI-generated explicit content, even fabricating an image with U.S. adult star Kendra Lust. He now faces charges including cyber fraud and identity theft. Archita responded by changing her online identity to "Amira Ishtara" and speaking out about the dangers of deepfake tech and the need for digital safety.

Claims that she ever worked in Amsterdam's De Wallen district, released an X-rated amateur film, or became an adult model remain unfounded, stemming from the misinformation spread during the fake account's run. Her journey continues as she models, creates content, and advocates for others, confronting digital exploitation and redefining what it means to be a modern Indian woman on her own terms. She is 31 years old and has been active for six years.
