About Anushka Sharma
Indian actress and former producer Anushka Sharma first gained attention as a model before making her film debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the 2008 hit Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Born in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, and raised in Bangalore, she moved to Mumbai to pursue modeling full time. Her early career included a standout role in Band Baaja Baaraat (2010) and a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).
Sharma earned critical praise for playing determined women in NH10 (2015), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), and Sui Dhaaga (2018). She also starred in major commercial successes like Sultan (2016), PK (2014), and Sanju (2018). After a hiatus, she returned to acting. As a producer, she co-founded Clean Slate Filmz and produced films and web series, including NH10 and Paatal Lok (2020).
