Anneliese Van Der Pol

Van Der Pol's mother named her after Anne Frank following a visit to the house where Frank hid. Her family moved to the United States when she was three, and she retains dual citizenship. She began acting in third grade and graduated from the Orange County High School of the Arts. At fifteen, she played Eva Perón in a production of Evita, earning positive reviews from the Los Angeles Times. She also received a nomination for the Austin Critics Table Award for her performance in Oklahoma! from 2000 to 2001.

Her Broadway credits include being the final Belle in Beauty and the Beast before it closed in 2007. She has recorded songs for Disney projects, including "Over It" for Stuck in the Suburbs and "A Day in the Sun" for That's So Raven Too!. She has a soprano voice and is trained in belting. She did not appear in a Disney Channel Original Movie, unlike most of her co-stars, but she is the only one to star in a Walt Disney Theatrical Production. She also appeared in Bratz: The Movie as Avery. She was offered the role of Kim Possible but turned it down. With 27 years of experience, she continues to work in theatre and music.
