About Anne Parillaud

Edited by the community

Anne Parillaud presents a classic French elegance with her brown hair, blue eyes, and slim 5'6" frame. She made her film debut in "L'Hotel de la Plage" (1978) while still in her teens, then appeared in several European movies before teaming up with French auteur Alain Delon in crime dramas like "Pour la Peau d'un flic" (1981) and "Le Battant" (1983).

Her breakthrough came as the punk junkie turned stylish secret agent in "La Femme Nikita" (1990), a role written for her by director Luc Besson, her companion for several years. After the film became an art-house hit in the USA, she moved to Hollywood, starring in John Landis' "Innocent Blood" (1992) as a lonely vampire opposite Anthony LaPaglia. She has performed full nudity in her solo work. With a 66-year career spanning decades, Parillaud remains a recognizable figure in French cinema.
