Anna Kendrick

American actress Anna Kendrick was born in Deering, Portland, Maine, and has been active in entertainment since 1998, when she was around 12 years old. Her first starring role came in the 1998 Broadway musical High Society, earning her a Tony Award nomination. She later made her film debut in Camp (2003) and appeared in The Twilight Saga (2008–2011). Wider recognition followed with Up in the Air (2009), which brought an Academy Award nomination, and the Pitch Perfect series (2012–2017).

Over the years, she has starred in comedies like Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and 50/50 (2011), the crime drama End of Watch (2012), the musical fantasy Into the Woods (2014), and thrillers such as The Accountant (2016) and A Simple Favor (2018).
