Anna Iriyama

With a petite frame and a calm, composed on-screen presence, Anna Iriyama has built a multifaceted career across acting and digital media, though she is perhaps best known for her time as a J-pop idol. Born on December 3, 1995, in Chiba, Japan, she began her entertainment career at around 14, joining the iconic group AKB48 as a member of Team A. Her years in the group, from 2010 onward, made her a familiar face in the Japanese pop scene before she transitioned to other pursuits.

Now a solo actress and YouTuber, Iriyama has expanded her reach internationally. She spent 2018 to 2019 living in Mexico, where she was part of the cast for the telenovela Like. Besides her work in front of the camera, she is a popular gravure model and maintains an active Instagram presence with over 420k followers. She is represented by talent agency Ohta Production, and splits her time between Japan and Mexico.
