Ann Pennington

Ann Pennington is an American former actress, adult model, centerfold, and Playboy model. She was born on June 3, 1950, in Seattle, Washington, and began her modeling career in 1976 at the age of 26. Ann gained recognition as the Playboy Playmate of the Month for March 1976, and she also appeared as the Playboy Italy Playmate of the Month for April 1976.

Beyond her centerfold work, Ann posed for two covers and appeared in two videos. She followed in the footsteps of her sister, fellow model Janice Pennington, and worked as a model on game shows. Her most notable television role was as a regular on Card Sharks, and in 1976 she substituted on the Dennis James-hosted version of The Nighttime Price Is Right. Ann also appeared in commercials and modeled for photo illustrations in Cosmopolitan magazine.

Ann married singer Shaun Cassidy in December 1979, despite an eight-year age difference. They had two children together before divorcing in 1993. Her daughter, Caitlin Ann, became the Playboy Cyber Girl of the Week on February 28, 2011. Caitlin has spoken about how she initially felt shy about her mother's Playboy past but later grew to appreciate it, noting that people often say they look like sisters.
