Biography
About Angela Melini
Angela Jane Melini was born on July 25, 1969, in Saigon, Vietnam, to a Vietnamese mother and an Italian-American father. Her father, a soldier, was killed in action before her birth. At age five, she and her mother immigrated to the United States in 1975 during Operation Frequent Wind, settling near Olympia, Washington. Her twin brother had to remain in Vietnam, where he still lives as of December 2007.
She graduated from Timberline High School in Lacey, Washington, in 1987 and later pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education at the University of Washington. A chance encounter in Los Angeles, where a Playboy photographer spotted her sitting on a curb, led to her career as a model. In June 1992, she became Playboy's Playmate of the Month, photographed by Arny Freytag. She continued working with Playboy for over ten years in various roles, including nude glamour model, promotional model, and feature reporter for the Playboy Channel.
Today, Angela runs two commercial websites: her personal adult-themed site and MarquisModels.com, a multi-model site. She also appears at fan conventions like Glamourcon, signing autographs and selling memorabilia, and occasionally does promotional work for Playboy at The Palms Casino Hotel near her home in Las Vegas. In 2008, she announced she would stop modeling after turning 40 and launched a baby accessories line called MaybeeBaby. She is 5'6" tall, weighs 114 lbs, and has an average body type. Her measurements are 36–26–35. She has natural 36DD breasts and identifies as straight.
