Angela Melillo

Angela Melillo stepped into the spotlight as a dancer, but her energy on stage pointed to bigger ambitions. In the 1991/1992 season, she performed in Il TG delle vacanze and joined the Bagaglino troupe, first as a dancer and later as a prima donna. Her television breakthrough came in 1992 when she co-hosted the first edition of Scherzi a parte with Teo Teocoli and Gene Gnocchi on Italia 1.

From 1999 to 2001, she co-hosted Alle due on Rai Uno with Paolo Limiti. Between 2000 and 2005, she appeared in Mediaset and Rai series including La casa delle beffe, Love Bugs, La palestra, and Il maresciallo Rocca. In 2004, she competed in The Mole on Rai 2 and won, proving her stamina in tough psychophysical challenges. She later joined the permanent cast of Domenica in for the 2004–2005 season.

Her acting roles include Tiziana Palme in the soap opera Sottocasa (2006) and Princess Luisa di Carignano in La figlia di Elisa - Ritorno a Rivombrosa (2007). In 2010, she replaced Luana Ravegnini as co-host of TV mania, though the show was canceled after just two episodes. More recently, she starred in the theater comedy Una fidanzata per papà in 2016. Angela is 59 years old, Italian, and a slim blonde with blue eyes. She stands 5'7" tall. She has been active in entertainment from 1992 to 2024, with her career spanning over three decades.
