Biography
About Angela Dorian
American former Playboy model Angela Dorian, born in San Francisco, California, in 1944, achieved fame as the Playboy Playmate of the Month for September 1967 and was named Playboy Playmate of the Year in 1968. She won $20,000 and a new car, an all pink 1968 AMC AMX, for that honor. A nude photo of her, along with fellow playmates, was placed inside Apollo 12 astronaut cuff checklists by NASA pranksters. She posed topless again for the April 1984 pictorial Playmates Forever! Part Two.
Vetri initially took on modeling for Playboy believing it would give her a pick of acting roles. Instead, she said that posing limited the roles she was offered, feeling she was typecast because of her beauty. In Tom Clancy's 2004 biography of Gen. Tony Zinni, the general recalls receiving her September 1967 centerfold from his advisers for his birthday, keeping it as a memento of his Vietnam service.
Later in life, Vetri faced legal troubles. The Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Division arrested her, and she was jailed on a $1.53 million bail. The judge refused to reduce it, and she was ordered to stand trial on an attempted murder charge. In early 2011, the charge was reduced to attempted voluntary manslaughter, and she entered a plea of no contest. She was sentenced to nine years in state prison. She was released on parole in April 2018 at age 73.
Dorian stands 5'5" tall, weighs 108 lbs, and has a slim build with brown hair and brown eyes. Her measurements were 36–21–35. She is Caucasian and American.
