About Aneet Padda
Aneet Padda is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films. She began her career with a brief role in the drama Salaam Venky (2022), where she played the love interest of Vishal Jethwa's character. The Hindu's Shilpa Nair acknowledged her appearance as "noteworthy."
Padda had her first lead role in Nitya Mehra's Amazon Prime Video series Big Girls Don't Cry (2024), a coming-of-age drama set in a boarding school. She played Roohi, a member of a friend group struggling with her parents' strained relationship. For the series, she wrote, composed, and sang an original track called "Masoom." The show received mixed reviews, but the ensemble's performances were praised.
In 2025, Padda appeared in Mehra's segment of the anthology Yuva Sapno Ka Safar, alongside Dalai Mulchandani. She then had her breakthrough in Mohit Suri's romantic drama Saiyaara, starring opposite debutant Ahaan Panday. Produced by Yash Raj Films, she portrayed Vaani, an aspiring lyricist diagnosed with early-onset dementia. The Hollywood Reporter's Rahul Desai, despite disliking the film's writing, commended Padda for bringing "a kind of literary sheen to a woman that might have easily been reduced to a coming-of-age device in someone else's journey." Saiyaara grossed over ₹6 billion (US$71 million), becoming the year's second highest-grossing Indian film. Born in Amritsar, Punjab, India, she is of Indian nationality and Asian ethnicity. At 23, she stands 5'5" with black hair, brown eyes, a slim build, and natural breasts.
