Anais Demoustier

Anaïs Demoustier is a French actress whose career spans film, television, and stage. Born on 29 September 1987 in Lille, Hauts-de-France, France, she grew up in a family with artistic ties; her brother, Stéphane Demoustier, is a filmmaker and screenwriter. Demoustier's breakthrough came with early roles that earned her two César Award nominations for Most Promising Actress, in 2009 for Les Grandes Personnes and in 2011 for Living on Love Alone. In 2020, she won the César for Best Actress for her performance in the film Alice and the Mayor.

Demoustier has also taken on leadership roles in the industry. In April 2023, she was announced as the president of the Caméra d'Or Jury for the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. During the filming of Marguerite & Julien, she began dating her co-star, Jérémie Elkaïm, and in March 2016, she gave birth to their daughter. She is 5'6" with a slim build, brown hair, and brown eyes. She is bisexual and identifies as Caucasian.
