About Ana De Armas
Ana De Armas began her career in Cuba with a leading role in the romantic drama Una rosa de Francia (2006). At 18, she moved to Madrid, Spain, and starred in the popular drama El Internado for 6 seasons from 2007 to 2010. After relocating to Los Angeles, she took on English-speaking roles in the psychological thriller Knock Knock (2015) and the comedy-crime film War Dogs (2016). She rose to prominence for her portrayal of Joi, the holographic AI projection, in the science fiction film Blade Runner 2049 (2017), and earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for her performance as Nurse Marta Cabrera in Knives Out (2019).
De Armas subsequently played the Bond girl Paloma in No Time to Die (2021) and Norma Jeane in the biopic Blonde (2022), for which she became the first Cuban to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress. She is a Cuban, Spanish, and American actress and producer, born in Havana, Cuba, and holds dual Cuban and Spanish citizenship. With a slim build, brown hair, and hazel eyes, she stands 5'6" tall and has a natural 32C bust. Her tattoos include a moon on her right wrist and a heart on her left ankle.
In her personal life, De Armas married Spanish actor Marc Clotet in 2011 after meeting him in 2010; they divorced in early 2013.
