Ally Walker

Ally Walker was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee, and adopted at birth, though she was raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She studied biology and chemistry at the University of California Santa Cruz, then worked for a genetic engineering firm in San Francisco.

Her path to acting began when a producer spotted her in an L.A. restaurant and cast her in her first project. She made her mark in television and film, appearing in 'Santa Barbara', 'True Blue', 'Singles', and 'Universal Soldier'. She later played a private eye in 'Moon Over Miami'. During that time, she was offered the chance to test for both Rachel and Monica on 'Friends', but chose instead to take on a comedic role in 'Steal Big Steal Little'. Walker is remembered for her role as Ashley Bartlett Bacon in 'While You Were Sleeping', and most notably for playing Dr. Samantha Waters in 'Profiler', a series that aired from 1996.

Walker later starred in the documentary 'For Norman...Wherever You Are', which chronicled her experience with the Los Angeles Foster Care System, and she appeared in HBO's 'Tell Me You Love Me' and in the films 'Toe to Toe' and 'Wonderful World'. She currently plays ATF Agent June Stahl on the FX series 'Sons of Anarchy'. She has supported the Environmental Defense Fund and CYFC - Children Youth and Family Collaborative. She resides in Santa Monica with her husband, three boys, and three dogs.
