Alinne Rosa

Alinne's career began in 2003 in Bahia as the lead singer of the band Cheiro de Amor, where she released 7 CDs and 3 DVDs. These recordings achieved gold and double platinum status, selling over 700,000 copies throughout Brazil. Hits from that era include "Amassadinho," "Faces and Mouths," and "Your Goodbye." In 2013, Rolling Stone Brasil magazine cited her as one of Axé's inspirations. In 2014, she left the band to pursue a solo career. Her first single, "Complicamos Demais," became the soundtrack for the lead character Helena, played by Júlia Lemmertz, in the Globo soap opera Em Família. The song appeared on her debut EP, My Style, which also included tracks like "Chegue Chegando" and "Estilo Meu." The EP, released by Som Livre, reached the 18th position on iTunes' most-downloaded national albums chart that year.

On November 11, 2016, Alinne released her first solo DVD and CD, País da Fantasia, produced by Billy Rasec and distributed via Vevo. The project hit 1.8 million views on YouTube and is known for its eclectic style, fusing Axé music with rap, romantic ballads, electronic beats, and Bahian percussion. Earlier that year, she had recorded the DVD in Salvador's Rio Vermelho neighborhood as part of the city's 467th anniversary celebrations. An EP preview was released in August 2016. In 2016, she also became a judge on the first season of the reality show X Factor Brasil on Rede Bandeirantes. In 2017, Billboard nominated her as a candidate for "Queen of Salvador's Carnival," and that May she posed for Playboy magazine's fall issue.
