About Alana Cruise
The late Alana Cruise, born January 6, 1981, in Jersey City, New Jersey, was an American adult film actress, model, and camgirl. She stood 5'3" with brown hair, brown eyes, and a 35-24-33 figure, her measurements often noted in her work. She retired from the industry in 2021 and passed away on May 5, 2025, at age 44, after a long battle with lung cancer.
Cruise started her career later in life. She began webcamming in 2011 while working as a medical assistant teacher, and made her adult film debut in 2014 at age 33, initially under the stage name Savannah Fyre. She performed solo and girl/girl scenes for studios like ATK Petites and ManyVids, then transitioned to full-time performing in 2016, adopting the name Alana Cruise and expanding into boy/girl, anal, and BDSM content. Over her eight-year active period, she appeared in nearly 300 films and scenes for major studios including Digital Playground, Evil Angel, Brazzers, Reality Kings, and Kink.com.
Cruise received multiple award nominations, including AVN, XBIZ, and XRCO nods for her performances, though she never won a major trophy. She was particularly recognized for her MILF roles and her work in BDSM scenes, such as a 2017 Kink.com scene with Seth Gamble and a gangbang for New Sensations. She maintained a strong online presence, with tens of thousands of Twitter followers and an OnlyFans account that she later deleted. Cruise's brother revealed that she left the industry in 2021 due to her cancer diagnosis, a battle she fought for over four years.

Frequently asked
How did Alana Cruise's career path differ from many adult performers?
Cruise did not enter the adult industry until age 33, after a five-year stint in the U.S. Air Force as a medical technician and work as a medical assistant teacher, which made her late start and professional background unusual in the field.
What was unusual about the timeline of her retirement?
Cruise stopped shooting in 2021, not primarily due to burnout, but because she had been diagnosed with lung cancer. Her brother later said she had been battling the disease for over four years.
Why did she use the stage name Savannah Fyre initially?
Her early work under the name Savannah Fyre was mostly solo and girl/girl scenes; she later switched to Alana Cruise, a name she chose for its simplicity and availability.
What distinguished her physical persona in the industry?
Despite being labeled a MILF, Cruise had a natural, average build with real breasts, a tramp stamp tattoo, and pierced ears, which set her apart from the more surgically enhanced aesthetic common in her genre.
How did fans and critics receive her performances?
Fans called her 'an underrated MILF star,' and AVN described her as 'a versatile performer with a natural sexual spark.' She was also praised for her Kink.com work, with one fan calling her 'a Kink.com standout in Family Values.'
