About Akanksha Singh
Indian activist Akanksha Singh was born on 30 July 1990 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where she grew up with a mother who was a theatre artist. She trained as a physiotherapist before turning to acting, starting with theatre and making her screen debut in the Colors TV series Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha in 2012. Her film debut came with Badrinath Ki Dulhania in 2017, followed by Telugu debut Malli Raava that same year.
Singh has built a career across Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada films, earning a SIIMA nomination for Best Female Debut for Malli Raava. She gained further recognition with Devadas, Pailwaan, and Runway 34. In 2022, she appeared in television series Rangbaaz: Darr Ki Rajneeti and Meet Cute. Singh has been married to Kunal Sain, a marketing professional, since 2014. She remains active in her field.
